"Erected in May for a party and struck in October after house renovations. For four months the 6x3 gala tent was our family dining room and living area. The summer was often 40+ degrees C and windy storms but the tent held strong. I miss it now. The garden seems bland, naked, empty. Apart from a weakness in one zip seam which needs repairing and one leak above a window panel, the tent is fabulous. Excellent quality that lasts. Merci "

"It was big and heavy bag, when I received the gazebo. Outside when I fold out the tent I became convinced the size and weight is very important. The gazebo is very easy to fold out, is quite heavy so it is perfect to also for barbecue and for small business.

"We have purchased the sides to go with our previously purchased gazebo. Very easy to fit - although it does take 2 people. They are more substantial that I imagined, fully waterproof (yes it rained a lot) but didn't spoil our function at all. The ability to peg the sides in place was very useful - stopped a lot of the billowing that you can get from loose sides. The ability to peg out the trim at the bottom to feed water run off away from the gazebo worked really well too. A fabulous product that I would recommend to anyone.

"Bought Poly/PVC 4x8m galatent to use on our scout camps as a dining area. Very pleased with it, easy to erect and totally waterproof. The tent has now seen 2 years use and is still going strong. The Poly/PVC material is compact and easy to work with, but does suffer from getting dirty easily - if you want your tent to look clean then the more expensive PVC would be better as they easily clean with a damp cloth. A tip: to avoid condensation when used in cold weather, leave the top two bungees off when putting in the end walls."

"We received the tent approx 3 months after order due to not being in stock, this being acceptable as I was informed. Easy to erect and put away, handy bag, although we have reinforced the bottom and added stronger casters 1 year on. The roof has issues, within 2 months there were holdes appearing like burns all around. No idea what could have caused them they are still appearing without having anything around burning it. Bolts and bits have a tenancy to work loose but just need to be tightened regularly. excellent in bad weather, has stood up in slightly sheltered area to high winds. Used monthly at Karting events. Would buy again, only roof damage appearing lets it down."

"My Gala Tent has been very useful, it is much more robust than a usual gazebo style that you can get. The pipe construction means that you can put up a wind proof and water tight structure. Building it takes a while to get used to. Each piece of tubing is marked A B or C, but it was quite difficult to find instructions on line after I lost the originals. I have used it twice now for two parties. Good value for money."

"I bought my garden gazebo on the advice of my husband who had previously purchased one for use at work at exhibitions. His view was - you get what you pay for and he was right! I'd previously bought a much cheaper garden gazebo from a supermarket and it lasted 4 weeks before it blew down and was wrecked.
I've now had my Gala gazebo through 2 french summers - offering great protection from the sun. It is also extremely solid and withstands the occasional strong gusts of wind which blow through the region.
The product is well made and extremely sturdy and comes with the option (needed in our case) of strong tie-down straps."

"This product was delivered promptly and has been used most weekends either at sreet markets or plant fairs for the 2 years since purchase. Gazebo has proven easy to erect single handedly and has been robust in all sorts of weather. Canvas bag has split and both zips have failed but can still keep the gazebo together on the roof of the Volvo. Only problem so far is that at my age of almost 77 the weight of 51kilos is a heavy lift onto the car single-handed but for the inherent strength of the unit this is a necessary trade-off."

"Delivery service 1st class. Easy instructions and simple to erect, very stable with quality materials and a heavy duty frame with a good coating of paint. The fixing with wing nut bolts makes it very sturdy rather than the spring type push connection.
Downside.
The corners from the roof covering with a hook at the bottom to enter the corner post stops you pulling the zip to the floor, also the hook velcro wrap around is to long it is difficult to hold in position to apply the smooth velcro, the metal pegs are to short and to thin, they need to be 6mm thick. One side window was not machined to the material leaving a gap for the rain to come in.
On saying all of this I would recommend to others and I would bye another. "

"The 3m x 4m Gala Tent has proved extremely useful for our group. We use it for a fundraising cake stall at Tissington Well Dressings each year. This means it being left erected for 5 days, and it's often windy and rainy. The tent can be easily put up by 4 people, and the ground bars help to keep it in good shape. It always feels very sturdy and I never have concerns about it (whatever the weather). Compared to any other gazebos or tents, it is excellent quality and the fabric goes over easily. All in all, I would have no hesitation in recommending Gala Tents (indeed, I have done on several occasions). The tent was provided free by Gala Tent, which was very much appreciated, but having used it and seen the quality I believe that the list price represents good value for money. My review and recommendation of the product is not influenced by the fact that we were given the tent."

"We purchased our 3m bay gala tent around 5 years ago (2010). It was used for an outdoor party. Since then it has been used for a number of parties and also as a covered area next to our house in the great British summers! It is incredibly sturdy and well built and still looks good. We pack it away in September and it sits in the shed until the next party or until the Summer again. It hasn't suffered with any mildew or brittleness, it is a little grubbier but still looks pretty good. It is reasonably easy to assemble by my husband an I and all poles and fixings are heavy duty and long lasting. I would recommend the gala tents highly. We had bought inferior large gazebos before but they never last. I imagine that gala tent has many more years to go yet!"

"Delivery was all fine and quick. Think the parts could be better and more permanently labelled. find the roof frames hard to assemble, so we now store them set up. Think the storage bags we were sent could have been more precisely designed for the number of different items the tent has, as we have to re-sort all the pipes etc every time we set up as the bags can't be kept just to one type of pipe. Think you might supply the instructions laminated. As a village asset it means that different people set it up each time, so no one builds up any level of familiarity or expertise, so the instructions need to be used every time. If we'd left them as paper they would have disintegrated by now. Apart from that all pretty easy and robust. Has been a very useful village asset, although enthusiasm to use it has waned a bit - not so much the putting up, but the taking down at the end of a long show or fete! People are starting to chance the weather and avoid using it if they can."

"A friend originally room ended gala tent a few years back and so I tried one of the tent marquees. The service was incredible. "We have used this twice, most recently on May Bank Holiday when the weather was atrocious! It was a bit of a challenge to put up as it was very windy, and our fingers got very cold pulling the bungee ropes. However it withstood the weather and gave very welcome shelter! I have since laminated the instructions to make them easier to use in bad weather. The video was very helpful to remind us how to put it up, it is very sturdily built and the extra guy ropes are very useful. I would definitely recommend it, but try to put it up in less windy weather if you have a choice! Storage bags have protected it well and it looked as new when we put it up after 3 years in store."

"The reason i rebought from gala tents is there driving force at the office with the answers. The pop up Gazebo product of very good quality and quickly delivered on time would recommend them to anyone who is looking for reliable with a backup of parts. The only thing when i was quoted a price for gutter kit all i got was just sent, the gutter piece and was not told that you need the two side panel parts to join them together, to make it work, which i think should be part of the gutter kit. They could be sold separate as parts but not as kit ok, otherwise excellent. Something that would be advantage would be a thin nice fitting slide able half bag with strap on to hold it tight together in the middle while you move it in to the caring bag, as i have trapped my finger in it, i made a bag and it has made it a lot better with easy strap woven round it. But: overall very good product for the price. "

"This is the 2nd 4sqm Gala Tent that we have purchased. The first one gave us loyal service for about 6 years before we decided to pension it off and buy a new one. The old one is still used but not for shows as it is a bit mouldy and split in places. The only problem that we had was that the end of the poles became rusty and were very difficult to knock 'home'. Also the canopy shrunk which meant that it split a bit too easily. We also have a 3sqm Gala 'shade' gazebo which we use for day shows. All very useful for summer BBQ's and parties."

Firstly the staff are wonderful. Very helpful and friendly.
The marquee arrived the day after the order and the quality look exceptional.
The bungees that secure the canvas around the poles are brilliant and easy to use.
We did spend extra money buying the ground support structure and 8 giant tent pegs.
We live in Hereford and have had some awful windy weather in recent weeks. We just rolled up the sides to let the wind move through the structure and it didnt budge. It was so windy I couldnt even look at it one evening convinced it would be gone in the morning and it wasnt.
I wish we had stopped wasting our money on cheap gazebos and had gone for a Gala marquee straight away. It is a British company which gets the thumbs up for us. We run our own small business and we like to support home grown companies. In addition to the above it is true what they say You only get what you pay for. Well worth the investment."

We erected it very quickly and easily as a sports room extension to the living room for Christmas and the New Year. It hosted several air hockey tournaments and stayed completely waterproof through some pretty bad weather and with 2 builders halogen lights inside stayed warm and bright enough to use after dark. Through the worst weather we rolled up the sides and lowered the canopy height at night very quick and easy again, covering the air hockey table well and we had no problems at all.

It was five times the price but worth every penny. I assembled it in a stiff breeze single handed first time. It is solid and well built. I like the fact that none of the roof fixings need to be moved or adjusted when you extend the legs. And the bag, with its solid base and wheels is just the ticket - you can stand it in the base and zip up the sides without difficulty. I chose orange because I thought that would be a cheerful colour to go with my kites, but the colour isnt the colour of citrus fruit. "Just bought a 3m x 4m tent and while the product itself is good, instructions are very poor. Images/drawings far too small, while video demos dont focus in on details for long enough. Example is tie-down kit ratchet - a mystery if youve never used one before. I pity those customers with no practical aptitude!
As technical editor of a consumer magazine Ive tested products for more than 20 years, so am fairly practical. Come on guys, spend a couple of hours writing clear instructions and producing decent photos - its not difficult!

We had two events to hold at home this year and we decided that to purchase a marquee was going to be cheaper than hiring twice - we spent a long time making our decision to purchase from Gala - the fact that spare parts were available and the quality helped make up our minds. "I bought a 3m x 6m Marquee tent in January and the delivery driver must have been jet-propelled.
Everything was in order upon receipt and the tent was erected immediately to at as a garage for a car re-build. After gales, Ice, frost, hail and more gales finally followed by more ice, I have had to replace the window panels with blank panels.
The frame, roof and end panels have withstood everything the weather could throw at it and is still doing sterling service.
